Initial Research/Concept

Kate Hamill’s Pride and Prejudice lends itself well to a modern twist. It was important as a design team to strike a balance between modern influence and period accuracy. We wanted the story recognizable yet relatable to a contemporary audience as we explored themes of female autonomy and the restrictions of class and gender.
