Happy Journey from Trenton to Camden by Thornton Wilder

Produced By Brigham Young University

This one act by Thornton Wilder is a slice of life as we follow a family on their road trip. On their way to visit a grown, married daughter who recently lost a child at birth, we see their lives unfold in a single cheery, family-oriented day.

The Concept

Having realistic costumes was important when the set was so simple and abstract. The characters were meant to be the center of everything, grounded in period accuracy.
