Concept Research

For this production, I wanted the color palette to aid in the story telling. All characters but Dracula were kept in a very cool-toned color palette. Only Dracula wore warm colors. All the others began the show with more color saturation, but as the story progressed, their color palettes became more leeched of color and more striped back to represent the way that Dracula’s preying was sapping them of life. By the end, all color but that of Dracula was washed away, leaving pale canvas for the bloody end to stand out. The only color left is that of Dracula’s.
